The Kaftanzoglio National Stadium is a legal person of public law. It belongs to the General Sport Secretariat and it is a bequest of the Lysimachos Kaftanzoglou Foundation.

It is administrated by a seven - member Administration Committee, which currently comprises of the following persons:

• Vice President: Nikolaos Zlatanos
• Secretary: Ilias Paraskeyas
• Treasurer: Ourania Tsipoulani
• Trustee: Athanassios Milios
• Member: Aggelos Spyridon
• Member: Anna Papakosta

The Administration Committee is appointed by the compatible Sports Undersecretary. There is a particularity in comparison to the other Administration Committees responsible for the rest of the country's national stadiums belonging to the General Sport Secretariat, since four of the Committee's members are appointed according to suggestions of the Administrators of Lysimachos Kaftanzoglou Foundation, according to the terms and conditions of the bequest.

In the stadium work seventeen permanent employees, three contract employees, nine seasonal employees and two employees that have been transferred from the General Sport Secretariat.

Director of the stadium is Mr. Nikolaos Chantzis.
