Press Coverage
For the press coverage of athletic events the Kaftanzoglio Stadium has 90 seats for electronic press journalists, TV and radio commentators. The seats are isolated from the public via plexiglas, they have a flat surface for writing, are well lit and have ISDN sockets.
For those journalists representing the written press there are 155 seats with desks (desk dimensions 80x180cm2). Each of those desks has an electricity socket (220V, 50Hz) and an ISDN telecommunication socket. Except from the seats having own desks there are also 145 seats without desks but with writing stands.
The Stadium has an organised press room with easy access from the press boxes and the press conference room. The press room is equipped with 110 desks, which also have electricity (220V, 50Hz) and ISDN sockets. The press conference room is close to the locker rooms and the press room and is equipped with a sound system.
Kaftanzoglio has a special area for photographers, which has easy access to the press boxes and the press conference room, with 150 desks and seats equipped with electricity (220V, 50Hz) and ISDN sockets.
The Mixed Zone is located between the locker rooms, the Press box and the Press Room.
TV Coverage
For a full coverage of the events taking place at the Stadium special seats-platforms have been constructed for placing cameras. More particularly those are:
- A platform at the main tier in the middle of the field and at the appropriate height, which is designed for the main cameras recording the match.
- Two platforms on the level of the playing field at the point of the goal area on the side where also the main cameras are.
- Two platforms on the level of the playing field and at the height of each scoreline on the side of the main cameras.
Loudspeaker system / Lighting/ Electronic Board
The Kaftanzoglio Stadium has a loudspeaker system that gives a perfect sound both inside and outside the Stadium and in the playing field, which can be used either to transmit music or for other kinds of sound entertainment. For security reasons, the loudspeaker system also has an auxiliary power supply.
The Stadium has a main spotlight beam of 1600 Lux and an emergency independent power supply generator 800 Lux.
Moreover, it has 2 video-walls, one on the south and one on the north side. Finally the Stadium has an electronic ticket access system and revolving doors.
