The playing field is 65 x 105 m. and has natural turf. The athletics field is 400 m. long, has 8 lanes and 2 jump pits (broad and triple jump). On the east side it has an area for high jumps and on the western side a facility for pole vaults. There are, of course, also the relevant infrastructures for all flings (javelin throw, shot-put, discus throw, and hammer throw).

As far as the technical specifications of the facilities are concerned, all sports in the Kaftanzoglio Stadium are held according to the most recent specifications of the corresponding International Federations and there is always the ability to adjust those specifications to any alterations required.
