The Kaftanzoglio Stadium is located on the outskirts of the city of Thessaloniki , but only 2.5 km (10 minutes) from its centre and 4.7 km (25 minutes) from its railway station. The above times have been measured during the hours of heavy traffic jam and refer to public means of transport. The distance from the International Airport "Macedonia" is 13.5 km, a distance that can be covered within 15 minutes only through the ring road of the city.

By Means of Transport

Since the Stadium is situated inside the urban complex of Thessaloniki the transport to and from the Stadium by city buses is quite easy. Lines 17 and 37 drive directly in front of the stadium and the bus stop is named after the Stadium, i.e. Kaftanzoglio. The end station of line # is quite close to the Stadium, while lines 2, 7, 12, 14 and 31 also pass close to the Stadium. City buses can transfer 10,406 passengers to the Stadium every single hour.

By private car – TAXI

The access of the Stadium by car or taxi is also very easy. Next to the Stadium is the exit of junction 8 of the ring road, the most important exit towards the centre of the city. Furthermore, in Agiou Dimitriou Street there is a taxi station.

Within the grounds of the Stadium there is a parking area for 350 cars and 15 buses, while in a close distance there is place for the parking of another 400 cars and 100 buses. For those who use a motorcycle, there is a parking area at the pavement of the 3 rd September Avenue, between the roads Egnatia and Agiou Dimitriou.
